Linux live on a Mac ibook ?????


i was just wondering if its possbile to use a live cd of linux on a mac ibook. and also is it possible to burn linux on a mac what would i need do to it if its possible.Im trying to fo this before sunday when i go to Chicago.

and i forgot would i be able to use even linux live cd if it works.

You can try Ubuntu Live CD for PPC. There might be some quirks. With all Linux distributions, it comes in a compatible image format. You just need to select burn image or something similar. I suggest using Mac OS X instead of installing Linux because Mac OS X already has parts of unix/linux components in it.

yea i know im just wondering about using a live cd but what about software what can i use on a mac computer o burna iso file.

so is it possible after you download it. To burn a iso file. But how will it boot just when i resart my computer it will go into it.
