Linux Compatibility?

I've got a SY-P4X400 DRAGON Ultra Platinum Edition (Soyo) motherboard.. I am wanting to install Mandrake Linux 10.0 on it, was wanting to know if Linux will work on this system.. The Chipset is a P4X400 by Via. Can't find any information anywhere so was hoping that someone tried this out. I'd appreciate some feedback!

Thanks

Please do not post the same thread in more than one forum. Picking the most relevant forum and posting it once there makes it easier for other members to help you and keeps the discussion all in one place.
