linux cannot boot-up after installed new hds

I'm setting up a server with following config

a adaptec 3410S raid controller (2 internal port, 2 external port)

I connect two SCSI hds on one internal channel and make it raid 0
and I was started the linux (RH8.0 ) installation process.
Everything went smooth.

The linux can boot-up.

Now I have 4 new 160GB SCSI HDs. And I connected the 4hds on another internal channel and configured 2 x raid 0 (i.e. 2 x 160GB for each raid 0)

When the server reboot, the linux cannot boot-up. It's seems cannot go the the existing linux boot partition after I was installed another 4 HDs

Who can help ?

It sounds like the hard drives with the boot partition have moved (with regards to the linux numbering system)
eg: If this was an IDE system, the hard drives that were on /dev/hda and /dev/hdb are now on /dev/hdc & /dev/hdd (or hde, and hdf, etc)

Of course, it simply may be that the BIOS is looking in the wrong place. Check that it's looking at the right HD for the boot partition.

Also, what errors are you getting?
