Linux and Physical and Logical Processors

Hi,
Does anyone know how if Opensuse Leap 42.1 supports 2 physical CPUs? How many logical CPUs does it support? Will it work with 2x 18 core xeons?
Thank you

I just spoke to a friend of mine and he told me 2x 18 core Xeons would set me back about $10 000 Australian. Make I'll stick to 1 cpu!!! :(

Linux will always support more than you will ever need - currently defaults to 512 CPUs max (single machine) for x86. Easy to increase when needed.
