Angry linksys WMP11

Okay.. first I would like to start off by saying that I have read all other linksys related posts on this website and various other linux help sites, but i still cannot get this thing to work. i am using version 2.7 driver, and running SuSE 8.2 professional alongside windows me. i have my wireless networking card configured with windows, and it does, work, but no matter how hard i try i can't manage to get it to work with linux. i have downloaded the orinico driver, wlan driver, and tried all of the drivers included with linux. whenever i do a "make config" with the wlan drivers for the pci card, it tries to go to /usr/src/linux and says that it's an incomplete directory, just like the readme for the wireless networking for linux setup said it would be. i then was told that the full uncompressed linux kernel was located in the /pub/linux/kernel direcrory, and i then found that i do not even have a /pub directory. what should i do?

thanks in advance,

You should have your kernel source installed (slightly on a different location from above) here:
/usr/src/linux-2.4.20.SuSE

Try go to this directory, open konsole, su then patch and try make whatever for the module again there then replace the old module. I have a great success to have my Logitech webcam module right. So good luck.

Have fun :-)
