libusb Digikam question

Hey all,

First time poster long time reader. I'm having trouble with Digikam and libusb. When I try to add a camarea DigiKam crashes. I have narrowed it down to the Libusb. My Laptop currently sees the cam. So I up graded my libusb now I can add the Cam but can't connect to it. Not sure what else to do. below is the last 2 things before the libusb upgrade. I do feel it's not Digikam. just some setting some were.

any help will be great.

Running Suse 9.2

ALex

Using host libthread_db library "/lib/tls/libthread_db.so.1".
