LG DVD-Burner keeps realtek WLAN from working...

Hey,

I've got a WLAN PCI card with rtl8185 chipset.
Everything is configured and working - as long as my LG DVD burner is not connected to the Computer.
There's also a LG CD-Burner connected that does not cause this problem.

At first I thought this was coincidence, but there are NEVER any troubles, when the Burner is not connected and almost always troubles when it is.

Does this make sense to anyone?

THX

Linus

That is definitely an interesting problem. I have a couple of questions.

1. Do you have a lot of hardware in your system (i.e. lot of hard drives, CD/DVD ROMs, PCI cards)?
2. A Related question; Any chance there is an IRQ conflict?

HTH,
