Lexmark X6170 Help!!!

I'm relatively new at the Linux gig. I've posted a few times. I only do this once google has completely failed me and i'm seriously stumped.

My system is running Debian>KDE and I'm attempting to get my Lexmark All-In-One X6170 Running on a compaq presario.

It's connected via USB to my tower.

Thank you so much.

The best place to get printer info is www.linuxprinting.org. Unfortunately they don't list your printer at all. In this case it is still worth searching the forums on this site. Someone in the Lexmark forum suggests using the z600 driver. See

According to my contacts at Lexmark (and from my own experience), the following driver will work for the X6170. It is the CUPS driver for the Z55:

I am using it now on SuSE 10.0.

It supports printing only. No scanning.
