Lexmark All in ONE drivers

I have a Lexmark X1150 Printer and built in scanner. I use the printer with the z600 driver and cups, and the scanner just doesnt work.

I was looking around to see if there is any progress in getting the scanner working so I checked the Lexmark website, where I found they have a linux driver development kit, also with a sample driver for printing and scanning.

http://www.lexmark.com/US/products/i...nux/index.html

anyone know if this is anything worthy, or just something for developers to tinker with.

thanks

That's definitely just for developers. Have you looked at linuxprinting.org?
