Question Lexar Jumpdrive Secure

After much work and downloading all kinds of files like lvm2 and others I have finally got my USB jumpdrive to work. I can view and copy files to and from it. However, I still have a couple of issues:

1) I have to change ownership to me everytime I mount the drive or I can not copy anything to it. I can't change ownership just once and it stay that way. I have to do it everytime.

2) I have to access the drive through konqueror. If I try to access it through the "Lexar Jumpdrive Secure" icon I get a "mount: wrong fs type, bad option, bad superblock on /dev/sda1, or too many mounted file systems.

3) If I copy files from a windows computer or my wife's MDK 10.1 computer to the jumpdrive I can not see them when I plug it into mine. I can see the windows files on the windows computer, I can see the linux files from my wife's computer when I put it in her computer and I can see my files when I put it in my computer. In other words, I CAN NOT USE THE JUMPDRIVE TO COPY FILES FROM ONE COMPUTER TO ANOTHER. (Not yelling) That is why I spent the money on the thing, to be able to use it like a floppy but for files too large for a floppy and too small to copy to cdrom.

If anyone has any ideas how to fix these problems, please, let me know.

Thanks

Mandrake 10.1 O.S.

Please do not post the same thread in more than one forum. Picking the most relevant forum and posting it once there makes it easier for other members to help you and keeps the discussion all in one place.
