I have been working on this with people from the PCLOS forum for days, and we haven't gotten it yet.
I have a Leadtek TV2000 XP Expert card with remote (Leadtek RM-0100 CoolCommand).
I compiled Lirc 0.8.0 with Leadtek 0100 support. I have loaded all required modules (lirc_serial, lirc_gpio, lirc_dev) and ran lircd -n. I get no errors here. I then go to another terminal and run irw. It runs, and the numbers appear when pressed, but there are no hex codes. irrecord does not detect any signals, but yet the numbers still appear. The numbers also work when lircd is not loaded. The only other button that works is the Enter button, which functions just like the keyboard enter. irexec does the same thing as irw (just sits there with no output).
I have tried several different lircd.conf files, several lircrc files, but nothing works. There are several of us on the PCLOS site with this card, but none of us can get it going.
Running 2.6.16.27-1tex kernel
Have the kernel sources installed in /usr/src/linux
Compiled lirc 0.8.0
Running PCLinuxOS MythEdition 0.5 (I am the main dev of MythEd--its really just
0.93a MiniME+Myth+Xfce)
Everyone else on the PCLOS forum with this card is using the same kernel/version of PCLOS.
Anyone know whats up?
