Leadtek A280 TDH TV-OUT....
 

Hi, I am trying to set up the TV-OUT function of my graphics. I have installed the latest Nvidia drivers and edited my XF86Config file but i still get no tv output. I have been searching the interenet and this forum but none of the solutions seem to work.

My graphics card is a Leadtek A280 LE TDH MyVivo Edition
(Nvidia Geforce 4 Ti 4200 GPU with 8x AGP)

I have also tried telling the X server that my TV-OUT connection is a composite but that does not work either and is not within the above file.

Hope someone can help, as i am switching over to linux complety at the moment and this is one of the last things that has been bugging me.

Did you try yanc? (http://yanc.sourceforge.net/index-en.html)

I was having trouble setting up tv-out and yanc worked great.

At last i have video out thanks for the link, i now only have two things to fix and i have my windows replacement going.

Been using linux for a while but since all the microsoft bugs of late and the release of Red Hat 9.0, i throught it was time to see whether i could try and make that move to linux again.

I have been using Linux on the desktop for a year and a half now. The improvement just in that time has been remarkable. Most things now work better for less money. There is very little standing in the way for most people to use Linux as a replacement.

I think in the last year with some of the new distros linux is more of an option and with new versions of open office.org and xine umoung others, this all made me make the decision to try and use linux not just play with it.
