LCD vs CRT mplayer issues

i am running a radeon 9800 Pro 256 on a asus a7n8x board. gig of ram 1.66 ghz proc with fedora core 6.

on the radeon i have 2 ports, VGA and DVI. on the VGA i have a neovo 17 inch LCD (very sweet) and on the DVI i have a DVI to vga adapter that then runs to a LG studio works 17 inch CRT.

when i run fedora core it displays the video output on both screens, this is fine, but when i play a video or such it only show up on the CRT, not the LCD.

the lcd shows every window, every screen, and every pic, except for the videos themsevles.

i use mplayer as the video player.

any thought????

that happens because the video drivers you are using cannot overlay (accelerate video) to both display ports at once.

This also happens in windows if you dont use the official NVIDIA/ATI Drivers.

I will suggest using the official ATI Drivers found at their Website
