laptop keyboard annoying numlock making letters become numbers


I was wondering if there's a way to stop the letter keys on my laptop becoming numbers when my num lock key is pressed on the full length keyboard. eg with num lock on the letter L becomes 3. Hnce when I press L on the other keyboard I gt 3. LOOL

it's actually normal for the L to turn into a 3 when the num lock is on. It's how they have made the keyboard on that laptop. But I was wondering if there's a way around it.

lol i'm so stupid
have a look in bios there might be some sort of setting you can disable

nah the bios is very basic. I think acer has customized it because it only contains a few options. However on a desktop there are dozens that enable/disable and control behavior of the hardware. Thanks anyways. I just have to live with it. Got used to it actually.
