Exclamation laptop battery level monitor

Hi,

is there any fix to be able to know the correct level
of the battery in a laptop. I'm trying to use the power
monitor but it doesn't show it right.

I have a Toshiba M45 with 1gb ram pentium mobile.

best regards.

Luis

things to consider.

is it APM? Seeing 1g of ram im thinking NO unless toshiba is really behind with new tech

make sure you have ACPI battery compiled into the kernel.

make sure your kernel is recent.

if you dident create your kernel aka a distro supplied one. Compile your own and then try it out.
