LACIE Firewire drive

Hi

I have tried hooking up a LACIE drive to a SLED10 box but I can't see it.

Have tried modprobing the following:

ieee1394
ohci1394
raw1394
sbp2

When I do a "testlibraw" it comes back:

successfully got handle
current generation number: 0
0 card(s) found

"cat /proc/bus/ieee1394/devices"
cat: /proc/bus/ieee1394/devices: No such file or directory

Or even "cat /proc/scsi/scsi"
Attached devices:

Any help appreciated

Does /dev/raw1394 exist after loading the above modules?
There is a gui tool like usbview called gscanbus to display host and devices attached to the controller.
