i downloaded the file but i get all sorts of errors is it because my usb ports are on the pci card? redhat detected it configured it but i am not sure if it is functioning is there a way to find out?

Is there any other way of resolving this?

Post the error message you are getting.

If the the USB card was detected and configured by the OS, then the problem may not be with the PCI card. If you have another usb device, you can plug it into one of the ports on the card and see if it works.
