KVM Switch disables the mouse wheel when switched

Basically I have a two port KVM switch that is only PS/2.

I have a MX510 and a Logitech Elite plugged into it. It is shared between an XP Pro box and a Debian box. If I have the KVM set on the linux box, I boot up and I go into it it will scroll with the mouse wheel.

If I switch over to my windows box, then switch back, it will stop scrolling with the mouse wheel. If I switch back to windows, however, it will scroll.

Have any of you encountered a problem like this and know if there is a setting to fix it?

(and I did search for the answer, and I couldn't find an answer. Maybe you could, if so post a link to it)

Cheers,

For what it is worth, my switch has a "re-sync mouse" code which is Ctrl-Ctrl-F12. Don't know what it does as I haver never had to use it.

You could try and swap over the computers. You never know, it may help.
