kt7a-raid + debian + raid0 (mirroring)

How to make debian installer to realize that i've got raid0 in use from hpt370 raid-chipset? Now it just sees two different drives, so does people have any clue how to make it work for not so expert debian user.

Thanks for advance.

This is normal for software RAID controllers. Install dmraid.

RAID 0 is not mirroring. Its stripping. RAID 1 is mirroring.

I think i cant get dmraid with apt? So after i intall dmraid it realizes that its one mirrored drive?

You will have to run dmraid to look up the RAID information. It is not a mirrored drive. Again RAID 0 is not mirroring. It is stripping.

It is better to use Linux software RAID than using software RAID built-in to the controller.

I'm sorry, you have to find out yourself because I'm tired of doing people's work.
