Hi!
I have a broadcom wireless card. I have used ndriswrapper and bcm43xx drivers, but I have a lot of trouble with this card. I heard that Atheros and Orinico are good on Linux, but Orinico cards had some issues with monitor mode in the past. I need it to be able to run with Kismet. Can anyone please suggest me any card that would work great with kismet and drivers without pathching the kernel etc..? Thank you!
well if you have a broadcom then your most likely using ndiswrapper and cannot use monitor mode. look for an atheros or a prism2/2.5 chipset as those are the best supported
