Keyboards without the mark of the beast?
Hello,
Do you know where I can buy a keyboard without the "Windows" logo on the menu key? Thanks, |

Use some acetone to take it off, if not then, a sharp knife (but don't cut off your fingers) :).

Looks great though, and it's black, I love black computers, they don't get dirty :) |

The version in the picture is QWERTZ instead of QWERTY because it is the German version. The English version is QWERTY.
I don't think you'll find much else without a Windows key, short of an IBM Model M... ;) |
There used to be keyboards for sale that had a penguin logo printed instead of the Windows logo on otherwise usual keyboards..haven't seen for a while now, but on the internet they were then. Some years ago or something..keep searching, maybe you'll find those :)

Also, you can get keyboards from Sun which not only don’t have a “Windows” key, but additionally use the correct UNIX placement of the Ctrl key left of the ‘A’ key.

I worked with those SUN keyboards. Nightmare. Didn't find where is the / so had to copy from the web. Can somebody explain what those window and menu/mail ??? keys are for. Never used either of them.

Hehe I have still an old IBM AT keyboard. Without Windows key. It weighs as much as a complete PC, and it makes so much clicking noise it can be heard two rooms down the alley. It is virtually indestructible as you can see. I believe it has run DOS 3.3. Sorry but no I don't sell :)
