Keyboard "Genius TwinTouch LuxeMate Pro" special keys

Hi everybody,
how I have to configure X, to recognize the special keys of the keyboard ("Genius TwinTouch LuxeMate Pro"). This particular model is not listed among the supported keyboards in the X configurator (Sax2). Is there something analogous among the supported models, with the same keys preconfigured in the keymap? If not, how to create the necessary keymap by hand?

Getting multimedia keys to work usually just requires using xev to get their keycodes, then mapping those codes to keysyms with xmodmap. After that you can use them just as you would any other keyboard keys, such as in hotkey commands.

The gentoo wiki has a very detailed page on the topic here.

If you are using a desktop (KDE for Mandriva?), you should be able to set the media keys in the configuration tool that you'll find in the menu. Try just pressing the key, instead of entering its code.

Thanks a lot for the how-to, David the H. That's what I wanted to know.
