Question key equivalent

Hello

My compaq system's keyboard has got a Wakeup button - which will start the system. ( If the system is shutdown using shutdown menu, wakeup button will wake the system up. If I switch off the machine it will not work. ) I need to replace the keyboad with a HP keyboard which doesn't have a wakeup button. Is there any way I can get the functionality of the wakeup button in the new keyboard.

Thanks
-B

If you mean that the computer will cold boot then that is not a Linux issue. You should look at the Compaq web site or call their tech support.
