KDE 3.0.1, CUPS, & Slackware problem

Hi-

I've been trying to get my HP Deskjet 712C to work under KDE / Slackware 8.1. I installed the latest CUPS and successfully added the printer under KDE's printing manager using the appropriate PPD file. When I try to print, nothing happens. Under Printing Manager, I checked the jobs and find that every job gets aborted immediately. The job-state-reasons field of the reports says aborted-by-system. Where can I begin to troubleshoot this?

Have you installed espgs?, it used to be included in cups but is now a seperate download.

I fixed the problem. I had to download and install Foomatic. It works fine now. Thanks for the reply.
