I'm new to this myself

But did u patition? I know this sounds like a basic question, but you didn't say.

Yes you need multiple partitions. I have a 500mb c: drive which boots to a dos prompt, 10 gig partition for win2k & 10 gig for xp. Red hat gets the rest of the 80 gig drive.
You have to install the oldest operating system first, then each newer one with red hat last. I believe during the install it asks if you want to make the red hat partition in control of the boot with grub. I can't remember the wording exactly but it asks if you want this partion to boot or something like that. Good luck!

Easy way you have to install the oldest operating system first, then each newer one with red hat last. and use last partition for Redhat9
But leave some free sapce for linux or if partition already created and win200 or xp install then u can delete any last partition useing "Disk managment" finaly just leave some free space for linux in.

during isntallation in linux will ask for partition and give u some options like this

1-delete all windows partion and install linux

2- delete all linux partition and install linux

3-dont delete any partition just free space (use this option)

use lats 3 number option i dont remebr tthe orignal massege wording can be chang.

Thanks and regards
