ISA Network Card- Haven't got a clue
OK,
I just dropped an old ISA network card into a system which already had Slackware 9.1 installed on it (it doesn't appear to be plug and play). It seems to have made no difference to anything- no mention of it (or the LT WinModem in the slot beside it or the sound card on the motherboard- which are both pnp according to the bios) anywhere.
Where on earth do I start?
Is the any lspci equivalent (surely something will query the isa cards)?
Is there a 'scan for non plug and play hardware' utility (like there is in windows)?
Or do I have to specifically tell it what to look for?
How do I do that?
What about other ISA devices (e.g. modems, IO cards, sound cards. etc)?
Sorry about the lack of information, I really don't have the faintest idea where to start.
Thanks in advance
Simon
