is this an irq conflicts? (solved)

I've just installed Gentoo 2004.2 on my new Dell Inspiron 600m, with the help from tuxmobil.org, I get most of my hardwares working perfectly. but the sound card seems a little freaky. It's an Intel AC'97 audio controller, so I choosed i810_audio module in the kernel config as described by others. when I rebooted, I get the followed error from kernel:
Code:
unable to grab IRQ 7
Intel ICH: probe of 0000:00:1f.5 failed with error -16
is this an irq conficts at all? if it is, how to solve it?

problem solved. It IS a irq confict with lpt port, they share the same irq. so I turned lpt port off in bios, then everything goes fine.
