Is the Tyan Tiger K8WE (S2877) Compatible?

Is the Tyan Tiger K8WE (S2877) Compatible with linux? What Sata controller does it use (it doesn't say), and is it completely compatible with linux? Is the nVIDIA Crush K8-04 Chipset linux compatible? Thanks for your help.

Do you think a fresh install of slack 10.2 with the 2.6.13 sata kernel slack provides will detect the sata hard drives on the nforce pro chipset without any trouble? I need to make sure the board will be fully functional before I buy It...

I'm not sure. I'm going to assume that you'll have to get your SATA drivers from nvidia. Why? Most distros do not include nvidia drivers, because they are still proprietary drivers.
