IRQ 11 Sharing Issues

Hello, I know you guys here are helpful and will most likely be able to assist me in this problem!

Ok, I installed ALSA, since I was having issues with my SiS7012 card on Red Hat 9. I got it installed and everything working, except the sound seems to stutter.. so I looked at dmesg, and this is what I get from it reguarding the sound drivers:

PHP Code:
PCIFound IRQ 11 for device 00:02.7
PCI
Sharing IRQ 11 with 00:0b.0
intel8x0
clocking to 48000
Intel 810
AC97 Audioversion 0.2410:11:52 Feb 27 2003
So, I believe ALSA is not the problem, but that IRQ 11 is connected to more then one device.. so I did a:

cat /proc/interrupts

and get the following results:

PHP Code:
           CPU0
  0
:     119688          XT-PIC  timer
  1
:          6          XT-PIC  keyboard
  2
:          0          XT-PIC  cascade
  5
:     198347          XT-PIC  usb-ohcinvidia
  8
:          1          XT-PIC  rtc
 11
:      53559          XT-PIC  usb-ohciusb-ohciehci-hcdeth0SiS SI7012
 12
:      59985          XT-PIC  PS/2 Mouse
 14
:      22663          XT-PIC  ide0
 15
:      11734          XT-PIC  ide1
NMI
:          0
ERR
:
My thought is that the reason my sound stutters, and sometime my USB Keyboard freezes is because of the IRQ 11 sharing, could they be fighting with eachother over the IRQ port mapping? This is my diagnosis, not I do not know how to fix this issue, and my BIOS does not allow me to set the IRQ ports.. so I am now lost. I am a Linux and could use some help.

Thanks a lot, these forums are a real help for those who wish to learn something new.

Also, this may be interesting, It seems that the sound card lists the sharing with 00:0b.0 and using lspci -v I found that the following is listed as 00:0b.0, a dial modem which I dont use:

PHP Code:
00:0b.0 Communication controllerESS Technology ES2838/2839 SuperLink Modem (rev 01)

SubsystemDIGICOM SystemsInc.: Unknown device 1052
        Flags
fast devselIRQ 11
        I
/O ports at d000 [size=16]

Capabilities: <available only to root
Any ideas?

Am I going to recieve any help here, I mean, it has been a day since this was originally posted, and it makes me feel as if people are ignoring perfectly valid posts and answering questions on where to buy sound cables...
