IOmega Micro Mini USB 256 MB FLash Drive in Linux Kernel 2.6!
I want to use my IOmega Micro Mini USB 256 MB flash drive in linux.
I am using Mandrakelinux 10.1 with Kernel 2.6. The said flash drive is detected using lsusb, lspcidrake -v | grep usb, usbview. However when I try to run fdisk -l /dev/sda a bunch of partitions are displayed with question marks. In truth there is only ONE (1) partition as I am using it in MS Windows. [NOTE: I can provide the full output of the commands if needed.] My question now is there a way to make the drive work? If ever there is a need to write a device driver, can anybody provide a guide for the prompt and effective way to do it? Thanks! :) |
