intel video card

While trying to install Debian I have come accross a typical xfree86 issue, but with a new spin. Of course, startx is not working.

During the x-window-system setup it asks for what type of video card I have. My spec sheet says it'sintel 3d agp embedded. That's not on the list. Intel only has two or three on the list to begin with.

has anyone encountered this before ? There are too many to play trial and error with, I would like to know which setting has worked best...
