Barcelona is something you will have a hard time buying right now plus from what info is available being true whatever core or not doesn't seem to make a difference in performance.
BTW:Amd has not been longer in the business than Intel - not in the CPU business or any business.Not like that would make a difference anyway.
I used AMD for the last couple of years but who thinks AMD's are faster right now is dreaming.
Hardly. Core 2 Duos were a breakthrough and anything that AMD is planning right now still doesn't match up - or barely. Even Intel's soon-to-be-released Penryn isn't much of an improvement over C2D. And do you really hope for any more price slashing? Isn't it bad enough that prices have already dropped by 50% since last year? (I happen to be one of the idiots who got one back then ).
