Intel graphics media accelerator 3000

Hi,

I recently bought a new dell optiplex 745 which has the new core2 duo.
The onboard graphics card is the intel graphics media accelerator 3000 (GMA3000).

Does anybody got this thing to work, currently it works on the vesa driver, but i prefer something newer. like the i810 for the GMA950 and others. i810 crashes my card.

I've also got the 3000 series integrated into my motherboard (it's a gma x3000 though). I'm going to test it out once I get Linux installed, but hey this post isn't a waste of time. Try the graphics drivers located here http://intellinuxgraphics.org/

Hi kvtorunh,
could you install this driver? i use vesa driver too, beacasue i was not able to install the intel driver... it says my version is allready update...
if it worked on your computer could you please send me your "xorg.con" please?
