We're planning to get an Intel system with Intel Northwood 2.40 C Gigahertz CPU and Intel D865GBFL motherboard, and integrated Intel Extreme Graphic 2.
Does anyone have any experience with whether this combo works or not??
If the integrated chip is based off of the i845 graphics chip, you should have no problems as long as you're running a distro with XFree86 4.3.0, support didn't get added for the newest intel graphics chipsets until that release. The Northwood and the board are no worry at all.
