unless i'm out of date with intel architecture, nothing at all. intel core duo and solo were just marketing names introduced when they also dropped the "intel inside" hookline

Your not able to trademark "dual core" whereas "core duo" is trademarkable (and is trademarked) other than that none.

The Core Duo specifies the dual core processor based on the Pentium M architecture, while dual core generally means the dual core Pentium D which is based on the Pentium 4 architecture. At least that is the way that I look at it.
