I downloaded the driver's from Intel and the inst said to type make clean and 2 other commands when I type make clean the make command does not exist. I installed Mandrake 8.0. There are some applications that are allready compiled like 537ep-boot and 537ep-inst but I can not get those to run either. both of those 537ep files, the file manager says they are applications why wont they run? In X-term I cd to the correct dir seen them in there but all I get is batch: command not reconized or something like that. I am not in Linux right now so alot of my explanation is from memory. It has been several years since the last time I used Linux. I guess what I am asking is how do I compile the drivers?
