Intel 536ep on Debian testing 4

Hi there

I was working with SuSE 9.2 professional and my modem with it's driver that I have given from intel site was working properly.

But when I install Debian testing 4 on my computer this modem couldn't work for me .

Compiling itsdriver has three steps :

Make clean
Make 536
Make install

Make clean works properly but make 536 doesn't make the module. I think the problem is gcc v4.x . make 536 always writes me that a file has error and writes me gcc 4.1 command not found. As I tried to uninstall gcc 4 and install 3.3 but the problem didn't solve and up to now it writes for me this message! (I removed gcc but it also writes gcc4.0 command not found).

I reinstalled gcc 4 and again the driver could'nt install. and has some error in coredrv.c file that I think every problem is gcc 4.x but as I tried I couldn't solve the problem.

Can you tell me how can I solve this problem?
