Installing USB Mouse in Debian
I've attempted to install Debian linux on my workstation a number of times now and I am having great trouble getting my mouse to work.
It is a USB mouse (Microsoft Optical), and I don't think that the installation is picking up my usb devices. It says nothing about 'usb.c' in dmesg. I've read many postings before and have attempted to change the X11F86Config file, but it is still not working? How do i know if usb is being picked up? If it isn't, which i'm sure it isn't, how do i install usb support? Hope someone can help. |
does the mouse work when you plug it in using the ps/2 adapter?
