Installing Radeon 9800 Pro Drivers in Slackware 9.1

Hi everyone,
First off, my computer specs are: P4 (2.4), Asus P4B533, Radeon 9800 Pro 128meg. Im running slackware 9.1, and was wondering if there are any drivers for my video card that will work with my version of Linux.
Also, would someone mind just basically walkin me through the install of them, because im very very new to linux, (under 48 hours) and know very little about the commands.

Thanks in advance.

1)go to ww.ati.com
2) go to the drivers download section
3) select linux and then radeon 9800 download the last one (for xfree 4.3.0)
go to the download directory and type:
rpm2tgz filename.rpm
then type
installpkg filename.tgz

Perform the following steps after you have installed the driver files:
- Run fglrxconfig to configure your XFree86 installation.
- Respond to the questions of the fglrxconfig program
- Save the settings to /etc/X11/XF86Config

if you have any doubts just go for some reading on the readme file there... but I think this is enough......
