Installing OS' on 2 different hard disks

Hey fellas,
I have a problem. Though I think I know htat it is not possible, but still maybe someone has come up with a solution.

I have 2 hard disks, as I have already mentioned in a previous thread. 20 GB and 80 GB. The 20 GB is PRIMARY MASTER, and the other is PRIMARY SLAVE. ALso a CDROM is SECONDARY MASTER and a CD-Writer is SECONDARY SLAVE.

Is there anyway that I can install an OS (XP or linux) on my second disk aswell and be able to boot either from the 1st or the 2nd disk ????

Is it even possible ??

You want to install XP twice?

Just put XP on one hardrive then Linux on the other and when you get to the option to install bootloader (in linux) it should install it into the MBR of the Master hardrive I had the same setup as you and mine worked fine. The bootloader in linux will ask you to boot either into windows or linux on startup and the rest is pretty self explanatory.
