installing Intel Server Manager on CentOS 4.2 x86_64

I installed CentOS 4.2 x86_64 on the following server:
Intel® Entry Server Platform SR1425BK1-E
http://www.intel.com/wa-cclamp/cclam...re.aspx?id=874
I wouls like to install ISM(Intel Server Manager) mainly to monitor my RAID. Of course there are other useful features too.
The supported OS list looks like this:
# Supported Operating Systems for Intel® Server Manager (check http://support.intel.com for supported OS for your hardware): Windows* Server* 2003 Enterprise Edition (32 bit) with SP1 (NTFS only),
# Windows 2000 AS with SP4 (32 bit),
# Windows XP* Professional with SP2,
# Red Hat* Enterprise Linux* ES/AS 3.0 with Update 4 for both 32 bit and Intel® EM64T (except Intel® Server Compute Blades SBXL52 and SBX44 not supported for X86-64).
- For Linux X86-64, mysql should be 3.23.58-2.3. For full list of RPMs, see Appendix A.
# Novell SUSE Linux Enterprise Server 9 with SP1 (Intel® EM64T) except on entry-level servers and Intel® Server Compute Blade SBX44.
# Administrator Console Systems may run any of the above or Red Hat Linux Workstation 3.0 (32 bit).

Of course CentOS is not among them, but this distribution is quite close to RHEL.
At the 1st attempt I didn't succeded to install it.
Now my questions:
Did anyone managed to install ISM on other system than RHEL and SUSE Enterprise?
Does it worth to strugle to install ISM or can you recommend some other RAID monitoring tool?
