I have installed ubuntu 9.04 linux in my laptop. Can any one figure out what software or drivers needed to make the webcam operational so that it can be used for videochat in gmail or any other chat client.
I use gyachi it is just like yahoo. and I use amsn it is msn. go to your software manager and there you can search for gyachi and amsn. or sudo apt-get install amsn or sudo apt-get install gyachi
good luck
