Installing canon pixma mp520 scanner onto slackware
 

I just have no clue what I am doing and I am a newbie at all of this. I already have the printer working, I didn't have to do anything, it just picked it up. But it won't pick up the scanner. I have slackware 12. So if anyone could help me out here, I would appreciate it. :) Thanks
