Installing Canon ip2000 on Red Hat9.0

Wanted to setup a print server w/ red hat 9.0 for a canon ip2000 ink jet. I looked @ canon's site for the product but no direct linux drivers are available. Looked @ linuxprinting.com but it wasn't listed

Does anybody were I can get printer drivers for the canon ip2000 printer?

Thanks

I'm using Fedora Core 4. I've found that BJC-7000 drivers work OK, at least for basic functionality.
I just used KDE's easy 'Add Printers' and chose the recommended Canon BJC-7000 driver. You can also
play with the printer settings (Saturation, Density, Cyan, Magnetta....).
You can play around with the settings, I went for about 1.1 or 1.15 (instead of default 1) for density, brightness, contrast.
In fact you'll find that you can even pick other BJC models that will work. However, I ended up settling with BJC-7000 as it's more reliable and highly configurable.
