I tried to install redhat 9.0 on GQ Great Quality 6086 PC. Installation is going OK.
When start booting, the system crashes with different error messages.
some:

unsupported version 3 of Verdef record

segmenntation fault at .............

some library issues around /lib/tls/libc.so

syntax error in sysinit file - the file is from the installation, I assume the syntax is OK

Is it possible that the GQ 6986 hardware doesn't work with redhat?
Is it possible to fix that?

The same distribution disks are installing linux without problems on dofferent PC (Emachines)
