Installing a Sagem Fast 800 ADSL modem
 

Hi,
I've been trying to install a USB ADSL modem ( Sagem Fast 800 ).

I found pretty easily the corresponding driver on the web, and followed the steps indicated in the documentation( in french... sorry). I also checked the dependencies.
The installation went well. It worked just the way it was described in the documentation.
Then I configured my connection with tkpppoe ( username, password, domainname, DNS).
The only "tiny" problem is that it doesn't connect. The error message is that connection "timed out".

I've also got a Realtek RTL8139 PCI Fast Ethernet card for my LAN connection.

Is there any chance that my configuration could be confused between those two devices?

Je ne sais pas si la distrib est similaire, mais pour ma part, j'utilise le configurateur de ma MDK 9.1 ou le sagem 800 USB est compris.
N'est ce pas le cas dans la MDK 9.0 ?

J'ai une mandrake 9.0 et cette fonctionnalité n'est pas implémentée.

j'ai installé mon modem avec ça et je n'ai pas de problème (à part les déconnexions sauvages de free)
