installing a RTL-8169 gigabit

i installed a TEG-PCITXR or a RTL-8169 gigabit for my LAN server.

i had the buildnt in sis 900 10/100.

im looking at the install readme and i dont get how-to insall it.

im running kernel 2.4.22-1.2199.nptl lastest yum install. http://rh10.homelinux.net/sysinfo/ will show all my hardware.

and if u look close ull see

Code:
Device Received Sent Err/Drop
lo 1.27 KB 1.27 KB 0/0
eth0 60.32 MB 0.00 KB 0/0
0.00 KB sent whitch is not right. the install of drivers i think is messing that up.
