Installing a Genius ColorPage Vivid-4x Scanner
 
Hello! Is it possible for me to install my scanner? It is a Genius ColorPage Vivid-4x Scanner. I'm just new to Linux so please bear with the newbie - I'm still hitting the books :study: I'm using Ubuntu Drapper (6.06).

Well, what have you tried?
Probably all you need to do is plug the scanner into your computer and fire up kooka, a useful scanning program (if you are using KDE, not sure about gnome) and off you go.
