Installation of Canon LiDe210 scanner in Debian Squeeze -- Stable

I have installed the sane-backends package 1.0.23
I have installed libusb-1.0-0-dev
I have ran sane-find-scanner:found USB scanner (vendor=0x04a9, product=0x190a, chip=GL848+?) at libusb:001:024

I have entered the vendor and the product in
/etc/sane.d/genesys.conf:
# Canon LiDe 210
usb 0x04a9 0x190a

I have entered in /etc/sane.d/canon_dr.conf
# Canon Lide 210
usb 0x04a9 0x190a

I try to run Xsane or Simple Scan and they tell me their is no scanning devices available.

I am out of ideas

Help,Please
