Installation of a Lian Li TR-5 thermometer on my Xbox 360.
I know this is a really stupid question but im in the process of adding a liquid cooler to my xbox, and I just want to know if soldering the 4 pin molex connector to the motherboard is the only way to get power.
I would doubt that the xbox needs liquid cooling sure they run hot but what is the advantage of this?
You should use an external source of power or you will overload the already overloaded power supply which will create more heat and possibly blow the supply.
